My name is Aurora Lay-Street and I am currently completing my first year of Elementary Education at the University of Regina. My first year has been a whirlwind of new experiences, some great and some not so great, that helped me grow not only as a person but also as a professional. I am extremely satisfied with how this first year has gone and I cannot wait to continue working towards my degree and one day be in a classroom of my own.
A little more about me. . .
I grew up for half of my life in a small city in Alberta and moved to a farm outside of Lampman, Saskatchewan. After graduating from high school a semester early last year I went to work at a radio station until I started classes in the fall. While I am not attending classes or working on assignments and homework I enjoy spending time with friends and family, photography, and I have a great love for films and music. In the summers I also greatly enjoy going back to work at the radio station in Estevan, the closest city to my farm, where I work as an announcer and summer events coordinator!
